What inspired you to launch your own website?
The awareness that many people can be helped through the written insights and experience that I have gained over 35 years of helping people through my social work and psychotherapy career has lead me to provide psychotherapy-center.com as a resource.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
The URL, www.psychotherapy-center.com, was chosen because it clearly stated the nature of the site. My name & professional credentials, Steve B. Reed, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, along with Dallas Counseling & Psychotherapy further express who I am, where I work and what I do to help people.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
As the developer of the REMAP process and Quick REMAP, two leading-edge treatment methods for easing the suffering of traumatic events, PTSD, anxiety attacks, phobias and traumatic grief, my site is the home of information regarding recent developments in those fields. In addition, my site is content rich with useful articles related to personal growth and the treatment of mental health issues.

The site is foremost dedicated to informing the public with regard to my work in the field of counseling and psychotherapy. It is and will continue to be a resource for emotional well-being and healing.
