I am a psychotherapist and couples and family counselor.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I would like to reach out to the community to let people know that I am available to help reach goals and live life to the fullest!

Just a couple months ago. My current site regarding my psychotherapy private practice
How did you decide on a name for your website?
my location which is in south tampa
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I work on a sliding scale because I am in the helping profession to HELP PEOPLE. I do not believe in charging a flat fee because some individuals may not be able to afford services...those people may be the ones who need my help the most!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To have a full time practice and enjoy helping others in need
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Spending a lot of time doing the promoting and advertising aspect of my profession takes time away from HELPING and BEING with clients.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would be able to reach more people in my community who would like my help, especially on a sliding scale

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
entering into contracts with unhonest business and not getting the promised marketing that my money was spent on and having to pay for services (even though they are not holding up their end of the BARGAIN)

not much success so far
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I thought that I would be able to let people know about my services much easier
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It has only been up for a couple months and I hope to keep it up as long as I am able to stay in business
How do I reach clients in need of counseling and psychotherapy services?
I have my website listed in a couple directories but have not been able to reach the number of people that I hoped to reach.
