My website provides information about Chanderbhan Counselling Services. CCS provides individual and couples counselling services to the Greater Toronto Area. This practice believes in collaborating with you to develop a plan to suit your unique needs and goals. Chanderbhan Counselling Services offers affordable counselling or psychotherapy for teens, adults and couples. This practice believes in a client-centered and culturally aware treatment approach.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I just started my new business and I understand the importance of using the internet to spread the word, and also provide an accessible portal to find information regarding my services, rates and location.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was a year ago, and it was an entertainment website, unrelated to my current website which is unrelated to my business site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
GTA therapy is an easy one to remember, we provide therapy services to the greater toronto area (GTA), and it's easier to remember (and spell) than Chanderbhan Counselling Services.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our fees are negotiable, and we really try to tailor the fees and program based on the individual needs of the client.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To build a solid clientele.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It's so important to work hard,especially when its your own business. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I think expansion of my business would be ideal if I had an unlimited budget. Plus, I would spend more time in the non-profit sector
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I think so, although this site is for information purposes only.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Advertising costs were far more than I first imagined.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Being a starter in a competitive field.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Online directories. Affordable!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Requires maintenance, and proper SEO to run efficiently and to gain viewers. Didn't expect that but learned that mostly from my first website.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It's brand new, I hope to be running it for years to come.
